Character

Masamune Kido

城戸正宗

Height: 178 cm The supreme commander of the border defense organization, "Border." He leads the "Kido Faction"—the largest faction within the organization—which advocates for the forceful elimination of Neighbors. As one of the founding members of the original Border, and with his contemporaries Yuugo Kuga and Soichi Mogami having passed away, he is effectively the longest-serving member. He is a figure who has dedicated himself to the expansion of the organization "Border"—overseeing tasks such as the construction of massive bases, the establishment of rules, and the recruitment of key personnel currently in the upper echelons, including Karasawa, Kinuta, and Netsuki. According to Jin, he appears to harbor a "true objective" beyond the mere "elimination of Neighbors," and it seems that the Mikumo Unit may play a role in that goal.
