Character

Ryou Sakurai

桜井良

Height: 175 cm School: Touo Academy Number: #9 Position: Shooting Guard Talent: Quick Release Shot A first-year regular of the Touou team, Sakurai is the team's Shooting Guard and 'Pre-Emptive Strike Leader'. Able to release the ball very quickly in the midst of a jump shot, opposing players find it almost impossible to effectively time a block to his shots. For this reason he was given his nickname by Imayoshi, as it allows the team to very quickly begin the game with an unexpected and nigh-unblockable three point shot. He possesses a very weak and delicate personality, frequently feeling blame for things that he cannot even control and apologizing for them frequently and comically.
