Tenchi Masaki's grandfather. He serves as the head priest of the Masaki Shrine. While he acts as a strict grandfather toward Tenchi, he also possesses a kind heart and watches over him with care. Although he usually appears laid-back, he is a brilliant strategist and proves to be more reliable than anyone else in times of crisis.
